The queen's longtime royal dresser, Angela Kelly , has written a book all about how she styles the monarch , and that includes keeping her diamonds and tiaras sparkly. The Daily Mail 's royal correspondent, Rebecca English, discusses The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe , a unique, behind-the-scenes look at what goes into styling the queen, which is currently being serialized in Hello! Per English, Kelly recommends, "Gin and water are handy for giving the royal diamonds a little extra sparkle. Kelly also suggests a touch of washing-up liquid, if needed.
Further, Kelly reveals that the queen is a fan of "bargain bucket" material and loves nothing more than knowing she got a good deal on a piece of clothing.
